Reminder about tonight’s Meet the Teacher night for 6th graders. We will meet in the SMS gym from 6-7 tonight and discuss PowerSchool, Canvas, Remind app, getting announcements, and the Chicago trip.
FYI, students at Selma Middle School will sign their portion of "Final Forms" on the first day of school.
6th grade orientation will be on Friday, August 2nd from 9-11:30 at SMS. This will include any incoming 6th grader and 8th grade Honor Society members!
Selma Middle School Registration is on MONDAY, JULY 29TH. Registration is NOT on Thursday, July 25th as reported in other correspondence.
WHS Freshman Orientation for the Class of 2023 will take place on Friday, August 2nd from 10A-1P.

The 6th grade is finishing up Science ILEARN today and tomorrow morning. The 7th and 8th grades have all finished testing at this point.

The Riley Club is hosting the Riley Dance Marathon this Saturday, April 27th, from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. This is a free event open to the entire community! Come and dance, play, touch-a-truck, and have some ice cream! All proceeds go directly to Riley Children's Hospital.
For the month of March, ALL PE students participated in a "mini-moves" program with a goal of everyone completing a 5K during class time. 91% of the 177 students met that goal! In all, students logged 19, 033 laps which equals 952 miles! Way to go!!
The greenhouse will be open to the public starting May 1 from 3:15pm - 7pm weekdays and Saturday 10-2 until May 11.
Great job 5th grade students putting forth your best effort today on your first day of ILEARN testing! 5th graders will test the remainder of this week plus next Monday. 3rd and 4th graders will begin their ILEARN testing next Monday.
