A short board meeting does not mean little work has taken place. Board members receive updated agendas, supporting documents, and opportunities to ask questions throughout the planning process. This preparation allows the Board to use its public meeting efficiently while making informed decisions together.

School funding can be confusing. Indiana law requires districts to use different funds for specific purposes, which means construction dollars generally cannot be used for salaries or daily operations. This graphic helps explain why facility improvements and difficult staffing or compensation decisions can happen at the same time.

Beginning in 2026–2027, Liberty-Perry students may bring personal electronic devices to school only if they remain powered off, stored away, and inaccessible throughout the school day. This policy was approved July 14 in accordance with Indiana law.
