It's been a good week! On Monday evening, we had the MEC Star banquet. This is a really cool event. Two students are recognized from each school in the MEC for their outstanding achievements both on and off the field/court. The students also select a staff member who has had a positive influence in their lives. Our recipients this year were Olivia Walters, and Hunter Rodeffer. They both selected Mrs. Cook as their staff member! It was really fun to celebrate all of them the other night!
Last evening was the Storer Scholarship dinner. As many of you know, this is a huge scholarship in the amount of $6,2000 renewable for four years. Our scholarship committee selected Kendyl Carpenter as this year's recipient.
We are surrounded by awesome students in our building, but that is a direct result of the awesome teachers and staff members who genuinely care and are invested in getting the best out of them. Yes, I'm talking about all of YOU!
