There are amazing learning opportunities happening all over for our students! Yesterday, our 3rd graders launched a payload of interesting items to the edge of space- around 80,000 feet in the air!
They chose to send butter, silly string, needoh/squishies, marshmallows, pickles, and water balloons from SES to the edge of space and it touched down in Cable, Ohio! Monday the kids get to see the fight video and investigate what happened to the items in their creative space launch! See it in action here! https://canva.link/nss5po02wav1wtz
Thank you to NearSpace Education and our 3rd grader teachers for helping make this happen. Stay tuned next week to see what happened!
Additionally, our 6th graders had the opportunity to talk to a LPS Alumni who is working for NASA! Thank you Mr. Dudley for setting up this opportunity for our students!
