Mid-Eastern Conference Announces Commitment to Continued Excellence and
Future Expansion
As president of the Mid-Eastern Conference (MEC), I am proud to announce that the eight remaining
member schools of the MEC remain firmly committed to our conference and its long-standing traditions
of excellence.
Eastern Hancock and Shenandoah have announced their upcoming transition to the Eastern Crossroads
Conference (ECC). We extend our sincere appreciation for their contributions to the MEC and wish them
continued success in their future endeavors.
The Blue River Valley Vikings, Cowan Blackhawks, Daleville Broncos, Monroe Central Golden Bears,
Randolph Southern Rebels, Union Rockets, Wapahani Raiders, and Wes-Del Warriors reaffirm their
dedication to the values and vision of the Mid-Eastern Conference. Collectively, these schools are excited
to begin the process of exploring expansion opportunities to strengthen and enhance the conference
moving forward.
The MEC remains confident in the foundation it provides, built upon strong academics, competitive
athletics, genuine camaraderie, and outstanding sportsmanship. We look forward to continuing the proud
traditions and excellence that have defined the Mid-Eastern Conference for generations of
student-athletes.

This past Friday SR Boys Basketball player Camden Bell signed his letter of intent to continue his playing career at Taylor University. His good friends Quentine and Eli sit down to talk about that decision and what this season could hold for him and the Raiders.
Boys and Girls Cross Country Regional Bound!
Both the boys and girls cross country team advanced to this Saturday's Regional meet at Huntington University. Quentine sits down with a couple members of the Boys team to discuss the preparation and expectations heading into Saturday. Best of luck to both teams this weekend!

As many of you know, Stephanie Flynn, Latchkey Director at Selma Elementary, passed away unexpectedly last week. Her family will be holding additional calling hours on Saturday, October 18th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Selma Elementary gymnasium. Stephanie was a much-loved member of the staff for 25 years, and her family and the school corporation would like to honor her time at Liberty-Perry and invite families, students (past and present), and staff to pay their respects. All in our community are invited anytime between 4:00 and 6:00 pm.
