We are so proud of you for representing and teaching so many students around Delaware County about such important topics! Thank you for taking time to be role models to our younger students!

Families, students, & staff,

As many of you know, Stephanie Flynn, Latchkey Director at Selma Elementary, passed away unexpectedly last week. Her family will be holding additional calling hours on Saturday, October 18th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Selma Elementary gymnasium. Stephanie was a much-loved member of the staff for 25 years, and her family and the school corporation would like to honor her time at Liberty-Perry and invite families, students (past and present), and staff to pay their respects. All in our community are invited anytime between 4:00 and 6:00 pm.

Yesterday, Kindergarten took over the corporation as LPS employees! They held a kindergarten school board meeting, learned about the careers in the administration office, and even wrote grants on what they believe would make our schools better. After hearing presentations, the kindergarten school board voted that more playgrounds with some new equipment and treehouses would definitely make it better! If you have a kindergartner, ask them for a handshake - they are pros! #LPSelma #GrowingMIndsBuildingFutures

Today our teachers took Raider Ready on the Road for professional development. Thanks to community partners- Muncie Power Products, Ball State University, & IU Health Ball Memorial- teachers were able to learn about employability skills, job opportunities for students in our own community, and real-world connections to bring to their classrooms. We can't wait to keep building on these skills and offering our students all the experiences and knowledge possible! #LPSelma #GrowingMindsBuildingFutures
