Over the Christmas break Senior Boys Basketball Player Aidan Franks eclipsed the 1000 career point total. Franks becomes the third basketball player this season to accomplish this amazing feat. Late in the fourth quarter, Franks hit a driving layup while being fouled to give him career point #1000. The Raiders would go on to beat their rival, Frankton 66-37.
Franks also credits Coach Luce for always pushing him to not only be the best basketball player he can but the best leader he can be. With the personal accomplishment behind him, Franks is now looking forward to the team getting better and making a run in the state tourney.
Franks is currently undecided on where he wants to attend college but plans on having basketball be a part of those plans. The Raiders are currently 10-1 as they go into the Delaware County Tourney looking to become the 7th Wapahani Boys Basketball Team to be crowned Delaware County Tourney Champs.
