On November 26th, 2022 Wapahani junior guard Isaac Andrews surpassed the 1,000 point mark against the Pendleton Heights Arabians. With 33 seconds left in the first quarter Andrews hit a 3 from the right corner to give the Raiders a 7-4 lead at the end of the first quarter. More importantly to Isaac, than the 1000 points was the win that night against the 4A Pendleton squad 45-36.
Throughout the halfway point of his high school career, Andrews has achieved many things most notably the scoring of over 1,000 points but also many others. Aside from scoring over 1000 points Andrews is also a 2 Time All MEC, 2 time All County, and helped his team win a sectional championship his freshman year. Andrews also carries over a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.
The team is off to a great start boasting a 4-1 record out of the gate. The Raiders next see action this Friday, December 16th at home against MEC opponent Wes-Del. JV Tip is 6 PM followed by the Varsity contest after.
