On Saturday, November 5th the Lady Raider Volleyball team captured the 2022 Class 2A State Championship. They defeated the Linton-Stockton Miners in 4 sets by the score 25-18, 22-25, 25-15, 25-8. In the match the Lady Raiders broke the record for most aces in a State Title Match with 16. Reese Baker also broke the record for most aces by an individual player with 5.
The title was the Lady Raiders 6th State Championship in volleyball following in the foot steps of the 2002, 2011, 2012, 2015, and 2016 teams.
