Congratulations to the Wapahani English Academic team that has qualified for the state meet.  The team consists of freshman Cierra Dishmon, freshman Leila Davis, junior Ava Kirklin, junior Kayleigh Brooks, and junior Flannery Olds.  The team is coached by Mrs. Olds. Each year the academic team is assigned a category to study and given material that correlates with the theme.  This year's theme was 80’s/90’s.   The team qualified for the state meet while competing against 35 other Class 4 schools on April 16th.  The team was able to come out of the meet finishing in 1st place out of those 35 schools.   The team will now take part in the State Meet on Saturday May 4th at Purdue University.  We wish you guys best of luck and are all proud of your accomplishments!
