Technology Director
This position is responsible for management of projects, supervision of departmental staff members and recommendations to Administration regarding trends and developments in educational technologies, as well as, IT policy and procedures. The current technology director is retiring and willing to train, mentor and consult as needed.
Qualified candidates should possess:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology.
2. At least five years of progressively responsible experience in Information Technology.
3. Knowledge and experience with a variety of operating systems including iOS, Windows, MacOS.
Full-time position (260 days)

Specific Job Responsibilities
Oversee all technology operations
Designs and implements IT strategies and infrastructure
Purchase technological equipment and software working with vendors to secure best equipment and prices.
Inspect, maintain, backup and restore servers and other critical technological systems.
Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems.
Supervise, train, and provide guidance to IT technicians.
Network security including managing maintaining firewalls
Network integrity including bandwidth monitoring and troubleshooting
Maintain switches and access points
Maintain web filtering systems and MDMs
Load Balancers and NAT addressing external network access
Gmail including google apps directory services
Active Directory Services
